The Boy with the Painful Tattoo

The Boy with the Painful Tattoo - Josh Lanyon This was my favorite of the series (so far). There was more of the relationship dynamic, and that's the bit I like. The mystery is secondary for me, and it's not especially interesting except to introduce some whackadoo characters.

I liked the glimpse into J.X.'s family. They're a little nutty too, and I'm looking forward to more about them.

And the best part, per usual, was living inside ""crankypants Kit's"" brain. (Kit's nickname shamelessly swiped from Vanessa.)He's not a lovable character, but he feels real. It's a bit British in his head, and I'm not sure if that's deliberate or bad editing. I choose ""deliberate"", so I can just keep on loving this series.
