This story was wonderful and heart wrenching. I won a copy from Ruthie Knox during a Twitter give-away. I've seen a lot of buzz about it and was genuinely worried I'd be disappointed. It's rarely good for me to go in with high expectations. This story deserves them. Give it all your expectations. The characters are real and full of all the human frailties we walk around with. The voice is first person, and Carrie's perspective gives the right amount of insider knowledge and confusion about Brian's motives. The story is well-paced and wonderfully written.
